If only that thing made it the final version of the game. It could've worked like the Big Boo: Hide underground when it gets to half health and you would have to use the Jackhammer to force it out of hiding.
To be honest, I was quite disappointed with Sticker Star. I mean, I assume you've played the other Paper Mario games, haven't you? They have a great story (particularly Thousand-Year Door) with awesome gameplay, original chapters and worlds, and increased the popularity of the Gamecube and Nintendo 64. Frankly, I find it odd that Miyamoto would allow a game like Sticker Star to be made. The bosses in the past games were awesome! Dragons, an arena battle with a giant Clubba, Lord Crump, Lord Grodus, the Shadow Queen, the Master, the Koopa Bros... there were so many new foes! Bowser, who usually has funny dialogue, does not speak at all in Sticker Star! That's pretty pathetic. I bought it, beat it in 3 days, and haven't touched the game for months. I hope that they make a Paper Mario game for the Wii U which LIVES UP to the series' name.
Well, if that's your opinion, then so be it. Personally, Super Paper Mario was a little more memorable for me than the first Paper Mario, but overall, The Thousand Year Door was simply so much better. This is shown by the unanimous praise it has received from critics and fans alike.
Apparently Dream Team was originally going to suffer the same fate of having no story too. Miyamoto approached Alpha Dream asking them to remove any sort of story in the game, but Alpha Dream, seeing how Sticker Star, refused and told Miyamoto to fuck off. :3
You know, I am going to put this as nicely as I can. *Ahem* "I can't stand SPM haters! Different doesn't mean bad. SPM had a great story that really moved me! Don't hate on it for being different! Nintendo was trying something different!" Now, that aside, I wouldn't exactly call Sticker Star "back to its roots." That would mean a masterpiece like TTYD. Sticker Star doesn't compare to TTYD, or even to SPM in my opinion. Miyamoto just... ruined it. Not hating, the gameplay and graphics were good, I'm talking about the story and experience system, partners, etc.

Great picture. I really hate that Nintendo's making the next Paper Mario on the 3DS. Sure the original and TTYD door are on the Game cube and Nintendo 64 but you can play those kindsof games on the wii. This game really has me wanting a 3DS.
